CLUBHOUSE SHOWDOWN
DECEMBER 2 & 3 2011
SOME OF THE MOST RARE AND DESIRABLE BOTTLES FROM THE 1850’S GOLD RUSH PERIOD WILL BE ON DISPLAY THIS YEAR AT THE AUBURN BOTTLE SHOW. WE WILL BE HOSTING A NON COMPETITIVE GROUP DISPLAY IN TWO CATAGORIES, LONDON JOCKEY CLUBHOUSE GINS AND WISTERS CLUB HOUSE BOTTLES. THESE BOTTLES BOTH COME IN A WIDE VARIETY OF COLORS AND THIS IS A CHANCE TO GATHER THE BEST SPECIMENS TOGETHER FOR A WONDERFUL DISPLAY. WE ARE ENCOURAGING ALL THOSE WHO WISH TO DISPLAY TO PRE REGISTER AS SPACE IS LIMITED.

Hey guys, There is no mention of the Auburn bottle show in the AB&GC mag, what happened?????
ReplyDeleteIf Auburns luck at getting a print ad placed was like ours, forget it. We forwarded the proof for a 1/4 page color ad for the Canyonville Show to the powers that be back in June and requested it be placed in the September / October issue. Receipt was acknowledged, but it never appeared...
ReplyDeleteHowever, thanks to Ferd Meyers efforts, we received fantastic advance exposure on both the Peachridge Glass and the FOHBC websites!
We had a great show. It was a sellout with a constant flow of folks streaming through the doors and a good time was had by all. Many thanks for all your help Ferd!
