CLUB HOUSE HALL OF FAME

I will wait for a week or so to post my Hall of Fame list for the Club House.
These two are not on it! Wait, A.P., did one of these guys dig your 'House'?

I believe CCH burnout maybe causing some frayed nerves....
Time to relax and take it easy.

  1. I think not, SoleAgent ! Good thing too, as they appear to be in heavy party mode, which is not at all conducive nor compatible with extracting top 25 Bourbons...
    Seems like the Clubhouse shortage and/or auction frenzie has rattled some cages the past wk while I was gone. I'll try and dig some more up to increase the membership roster...

  2. From several of the ABDs I've seen it seems like the old SF crew often had a beer or two while digging.....

  3. That was a fairly common MO back in the 60s & 70s. It wasnt so hard to find undug holes then, and many diggers out here were relaxing more while digging. It was more like... " hey guys anyone feel like going and diggin a hole?" instead of present times.."lets go try and find an undug hole".
    I have found the beer cans in earlier ABD's in my area too.

  4. This is kinda related. I once knew of a digger that would often get so drunk off beer while digging that he'd often not finish his holes. One day he had some on-lookers (diggers) watching him fill in a hole after he had just pulled out three nice early circle Cutters. The lookers dug it out after he left and got 5 more !

  5. Just a note to let you know the happy winner of the California Clubhouse in our latest American Bottle Auctions was David Bone from Utah. He is very happy with his purchase and it couldn't go to a better collector or home. Congratulations David, you deserve it!
